Shrink bags extend the shelf life of your products with an “invisible” packaging and make your products looking real good. Because of the use of a thin multifunctional film, with real good shrinkage properties, very transparent, high gloss and shiny appearance shrink bags offer many advantages above the “normal” vacuum bags.
Shrink bags are ideal for packaging meat, processed meat and all different kind of cheeses.
By dipping the finished product for about 2-3 seconds in water of about 85-900C / 185-194oF, after packing and evacuation, the bag will fit real tight around the product. Besides a perfect presentation of the product this also means less drip loss in the corners of the bag coming from your product.
Our standard shrink bags in thickness 50 micron are available in both side seal and in a round or square bottom seal. Besides loose bags it’s also possible to order taped shrink bags and shrink bags on the roll is another option.
On request we can also deliver special sizes and thicknesses for special applications like products with sharp edges, for products with bones or for smoked product.
Special cheese bags for maturing cheese in the bags after they have been packed can also be delivered next to special boilable shrink bags.
