Stand Up Bags

Stand up bags or Doypack bags can be delivered with just a bottom gusset, or with a bottom gusset and a side gusset.  Besides the “ordinary” square-type bags it’s also possible to create custom made bags with special shapes.

Most stand up bags without a spout are usually produced with a “V” notch for easy opening on the side so you don’t have to use a pair of scissors or a knife to open these.  Stand up bags are not only used for packaging dry food or soap powder but also for packaging soup and when produced with a spout these bags are ideal for drinking your favorite drink.  When used for dry food like pet-food or nuts, you can order stand up bags with a zip-lock so you can close the bag again after opening and your product won’t dry out or loose flavor.

Stand up bags can be delivered in many different ways and by printing the bottom and/or side gusset also you can present your product in the most perfect way.

Stand up bags can be delivered in many different types:

• with or without a “V” notch for easy tear opening of the bag
• with a re-sealable zip-lock for easily closing the bag again after opening, preventing loss of flavors from the bag and desiccating the product.
• There are 2 different kinds of zip-locks:
  • Slider-lock zip bags.
  • Zip-lock closure, by just pressing the bag together.
• Suitable for packaging liquids and drinks, but also for packaging dry powders and solid products.
• Spout can be attached to stand up bag, either in the middle or on the side for drinking juice, milk, wine, water, etc.  It’s possible to pasteurize or sterilize your drink in the stand up bag after filling, depending on type of bag used.  Stand up bags with a spout will be filled through the spout and cap will be placed and sealed by the filling machine after filling so you will be sure your drink is save.  For baby-food we can offer you stand up bags with a baby safe spout, so they can’t by accident swallow the cap after opening the bag.
• Stand up bags can also be delivered with a side gusset, it’s not possible to use a zip lock for bags like this.
